Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization’s computer networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Manage and maintain servers, cloud services, and data backups.
• Conduct routine network updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.
• Provide technical support for end-users and resolve network-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and deploy network infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes.
• Research and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with firewall management and network security measures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network problems efficiently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP are preferred.
